Hello, my name is Eric Schwartz, a graphic and web designer from New Jersey. I take every job seriously and have the talent to create or customize any of your design needs. My experience roots from handling many different tasks at a design/marketing/print shop since graduating from William Paterson University with a BFA in graphic design.
I'm a quick learner with the technical knowledge to teach others. I can be an asset to any company or personally to a client that may need some freelance work. Explaining the technical side of my art helps people understand design in a way that gets the client and I to be on the same level. Web Design Portfolio
I create websites using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and XHTML. Using CSS enables designers to work quickly and efficiently by utilizing something referred to as a "stylesheet". Using stylesheets separates the (content) HTML from (formatting) presentation of a website. CSS will make your website easier to update while decreasing the size of your pages making for quicker download speeds.
APREA
APREA also known as A Premier Real Estate Agency included a custom design and template for Joomla! 1.5, a CSS Featured Listings module and explanation of how to manage their new content management system. The client is currently waiting to buy a property listings module and will implement when ready.

This is a complete redesign for the New Jersey State Opera. My update included a custom design, Flash effects, music downloads, Paypal, video, various ads, rosters and press releases.

Graphic Design Portfolio
Being creative is a great start for any design project. I have the ability to be open-minded yet very technical when it comes to designing. Using vibrant colors and imagery with easy to read information is what I strive for when making a graphic design project. The clients' should always get what they envision.
DeMartinis Landscaping
DeMartinis Landscaping, Inc. needed a brochure and folder for their upcoming marketing campaign for the upcoming landscaping season. I decided to go with a real organic collage for the covers of the brochure and folder. In the collages I tried to encompass all the things that DeMartinis Landscaping is about.
New Jersey State Opera
Designed educational materials, ads, program journals, and email blasting for the promotion of Destination: Opera! and other New Jersey State Opera events.
Monk's Painting
Created the logo for Monk's Painting/Carpentry, and many other marketing designs such as stationery, contracts, flyers, postcards and ads.
Hofmann Design Build
Hofmann Design Build needed personal mailers, stationery, advertisements, brochures and newsletters on a monthly basis.
Art Meets Craft
Art Meets Craft needed a new logo, brochure, letterhead, postcard and personal mailing.
Collage Portfolio
I've been creating collages since I began using the Macintosh in college. Always being a Fine Artist at heart before learning the computer, making collages is as close as it gets to painting and drawing. Using a pen tablet, I mask images and morph them into a beautiful collage. Also included are "colorized image" collages which are outlines of a photo with a solid color fill. Another type of collage that I recently made are called "vector collages". Vector collages are similar to the colorized image collages except that these have no resolution and the shapes are drawn mathematically. These are printed on plexiglass with acrylic ink. Photo Collages
I get sent a ton of photos and combine them to make works of art. These are printed on plexiglass and range from 30" x 40 " to 48" x 96". These photo collages are to be hung inside Army/Military buildings.
Vector Collages
This project was different in the way I created each collage as vector art and they all contained extreme sports. I was sent blueprints of the building and almost every image was overlapped by one another. There were 8 buildings total each with it's own color pallete.
Colorized Imagery
These colorized images were produced and sized just like the photo collages. I take a few photos and perform a technique where the image goes black and white, with as much contrast as possible. Then I fill them with colors specified by the client.
